Town hall meeting

A town hall meeting was held to directly communicate management's ideas to employees and create an open work environment. By creating opportunities for the president and employees to exchange opinions and deepen mutual understanding, various issues are directly communicated not only from the president to employees but also from employees to the president, and the collected feedback is utilized for future improvement measures and initiatives.
It is hoped that the workshop-style dialogue will provide an opportunity to mutually consider the future of the company and lead to better corporate activities while each employee is aware of the need to make changes in the company.

Sunset Café

Three Taiyo Group companies (Taiyo Kogyo Corporation, TSP Taiyo, and ACTIO) celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2022. On the occasion of its 100th anniversary, the company is promoting activities to strengthen cooperation, including the creation of synergies through personnel exchange and joint social contribution activities, and as part of these activities, a social gathering called “Sunset Café” is being implemented.
Various events allow group employees to interact with each other, leading to the creation of further corporate activities.

ONE TAIYO Clean Walk (community cleanup volunteer activities)

Three Taiyo Group companies (Taiyo Kogyo Corporation, TSP Taiyo, and ACTIO) regularly hold the “ONE TAIYO Clean Walk” to contribute to the local community and promote interaction among group employees.
Participants wear matching “ONE TAIYO work gloves” and start walking in the morning to collect trash around the office. This initiative, which began in Japan in October 2022, has seen the increasing number of participating offices and employees each time it has been held, and is now being held at overseas Group companies across borders.
During the cleanup activities, local residents asked the name of the company and expressed their appreciation, and the event has been a great success in building a sense of camaraderie as well as a connection with the local community.

Extracurricular activities

The company is involved in various club activities, including a yacht club and an English conversation club. We strive to improve work-life balance and motivation by providing opportunities for employees to enjoy their hobbies while promoting communication with each other outside of work.

Main work style reform actions

We have adopted staggered working hours and a teleworking system to improve the labor environment and business efficiency of our employees. We also support diverse work styles through the introduction of a hot-desking system and various IT tools. In 2023, we implemented a large-scale renovation and consolidation of group offices at our Osaka head office to create a better working environment for our employees.

Quality management system

We promote company-wide quality management to maintain and improve the quality of our products and services, and to deliver safety and peace of mind to our customers. The "Quality Assurance Committee" was established to determine company-wide quality policy, identify quality risks, prevent problems, and check the effectiveness and reliability of quality activities.

Heath and safety

We regard safety management as one of the most important items in our corporate management. The Safety Management Office plays a central role in the establishment and operation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, promoting activities to ensure and further improve the quality of safety, and engaging in production activities on a daily basis.

Taiyo Pride

We aim to achieve zero lost time injuries by thoroughly implementing our own safety standard, “Taiyo Pride,” at each construction site to provide “satisfaction” and “excitement” to our customers.

TSM System

We hold “safety convention” to invigorate health and safety activities at construction sites. Awards are given to subcontractors that have completed construction projects or delivered products and materials with no accidents, injuries, or defects. We also have the “TSM Certification System,” which recognizes those who possess both a high level of insight and superior skills, as well as excellent on-site management capabilities as excellent senior manager, and grants them the title of Taiyo Safety Meister (TSM).
The safety convention is an opportunity for all concerned to share and reaffirm the importance of health and safety management, and to work toward achieving zero accidents and zero occupational injury.

Establishment of health committee

We have established a "Health Committee" for the purpose of maintaining employee health, preventing occupational accidents, and promoting health maintenance and health education. Once a month, a Health Committee meeting is held in the presence of an industrial physician and health manager to promote and nurture the health of employees in accordance with various themes.
