Refrigerated storage and transport is a prerequisite for vaccine transportation. In addition, one of the concerns in the coming season is whether or not the low temperature can be maintained even during transportation when the outside temperature is close to 40℃. Taiyo Kogyo’s medical boxes can be used for both refrigerated and frozen transportation, and in a cold storage performance test, the box was shown to maintain a temperature of 2~8℃ for 33 hours under the condition of 40℃ outside temperature, which is assumed for refrigerated transportation. The standard for outside temperature set by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is 35°C, and tests are conducted under even harsher conditions.

 

*The -25°C type of refrigerant is used to maintain a temperature range of -15°C or lower for approximately 33 hours under an outside temperature of 40°C.
*The results were obtained in compliance with the operation method described in the medical box instruction manual.
