Taiyo Kogyo Completely Renews Corporate Website

(Tokyo headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Osaka headquarters: Yodogawa-ku, Osaka; President: Yumi Nomura; hereafter “Taiyo Kogyo”), a company involved in large-scale membrane surface structures (tent structures) and civil engineering and logistics materials, conducted a complete renewal of its corporate website on March 29. With Taiyo Kogyo’s management philosophy and brand identity at its core, the website has been designed in a user-first manner so that necessary information can be delivered appropriately to each stakeholder.

We aimed to eliminate the complexity of the hierarchy caused by the passage of years since the previous revamp, and to create a site that delivers appropriate information tailored to the needs of visitors. The site was designed to reflect the unique characteristics of each business by organizing the appeal and corporate value of membrane materials and extracting the targets, customer needs, and values provided by each business.

To improve accessibility to necessary information from the top page, a “global navigation” system has been established to provide links to major content. It is designed to meet the needs of visitors to the site so that they can search for information and reach their desired information in the shortest possible time. The responsive design is compatible with tablet devices and smartphones.

From April 1, 2024, the revised Law for Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities will be applied and accessibility compliance will become mandatory. This website meets Level AA of the Japanese Industrial Standards for web accessibility, “JIS X 8341-3 Guidelines for older persons and persons with disabilities – Information and communications equipment, software and services – Part 3: Web content. This standard aims to provide comfortable use regardless of the user’s age or disability by improving visibility and visual quality.
