Membrane structures were installed at several facilities, including the platform shed at Minoh Kayano Station.

Taiyo Kogyo Corporation (Tokyo headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Osaka headquarters: Yodogawa-ku, Osaka; President: Yumi Nomura; hereafter “Taiyo Kogyo”), a company involved in large-scale membrane surface structures (tent structures) and civil engineering and logistics materials, has constructed multiple membrane structures for the Minoh Kayano Station and Minoh Semba-Handaimae Station and surrounding facilities on the Kita Osaka Kyuko Railway Nanboku Line (operated by Kita Osaka Kyuko Railway Co. (operated by Kita Osaka Kyuko Railway Co., Ltd.), we constructed several membrane structures for the station buildings and surrounding facilities of Minoh Kayano Station and Minoh Senba Handa Imae Station on the Minoh Namboku Line. Both new stations opened on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in conjunction with the extension of the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway Nanboku Line.

Minoh Kayano Station is directly connected to Minoh Cuse Mall, a shopping complex. Membrane structures were adopted for the shed designed to protrude from the top of the platform, the traffic plaza on the north side in front of the station, and the pedestrian bridge “Kayano Sanpei Bridge” over the main road.

The area around Minoh Senba Hankai-mae Station is known as a commercial complex where textile wholesalers gather, and the concept of the new station is “to be the gateway to the ‘textile town’ and the ‘new town'”. The underground platform has a paneled membrane ceiling with a textile motif. The membrane structure of the entrance and pedestrian deck in front of the station serves as an access point to the Minoh Campus of Osaka University and public facilities adjacent to the new station, such as the Cultural and Performing Arts Theater, Senba Library, and Senba Lifelong Learning Center.
