MOKU Truss
Wood and wood-enhanced structural systems that take advantage of the characteristics and warmth of wood.
MOKU trusses combine the superior functionality of TM trusses with the characteristics and materiality of wood. Since the tensile and compressive forces are almost equal, MOKU trusses feature good load balance and are resistant to dew condensation. The systematized construction method and excellent earthquake resistance remain unchanged, while the warmth and beauty of wood are combined to create a space that is both beautiful and comfortable.

Wood utilization
Wood, a natural material, is utilized in the structural system.
About two-thirds of Japan’s land area is covered by forests. In these days when the utilization of timber is desired, MOKU trusses utilize a proven system to realize highly reliable wood construction (lumber construction).
Local production for local consumption
Building plans can be made using local timber.
Depending on the building plans and conditions, the majority of structural members will consist of small to interrupted face members, making it easier to utilize local lumber. Local timber for local facilities. Please consider using local timber for your local facilities.
Variation
There are three types of MOKU trusses.
The use of timber varies depending on the region and planning conditions. 3 types of MOKU trusses are available, so you can choose the one that best fits your planning concept, legal requirements, etc.
forte
Original type
This wooden system uses laminated wood or solid wood for the pipe section and is joined with joint hardware and drift pins or bolts.
Wood cover type
Wooden exterior materials are attached to steel pipe trusses. This is effective when the texture of wood is desired, but wooden construction is difficult due to design conditions.
Logo type
This wood construction system was developed with a view to using thinned logs. Almost all of the logs can be used, leading to effective utilization of resources.
