"Appeal"
-Polyester filament non-woven fabric-
Polyester long-fiber nonwoven fabric "Appeal" is a sheet for civil engineering applications with outstanding strength, water permeability, weather resistance, and creep resistance.
It has high strength and durability, and the unique water permeability effect of polyester long-fiber nonwoven fabric separates soil and water. With a width of 4.2 m, the largest in Japan, this sheet for civil engineering is economical and easy to work with.
*For sale only in the Japanese market.
Product & Service
Features
Prevention of sucking out and washing out
Its excellent filtering performance prevents sediment runoff, drains only water, and performs amazingly well at the water’s edge.
Stability of soft ground
In addition to its high strength, the sheet is stretchable and tear-resistant, supporting the embankment load and enabling stable ground.
Drainage filter
Prevents clogging and improves drainage performance.
Embankment stability
It drains only water, either vertically or horizontally, is flexible, and has a high coefficient of friction with the soil, allowing for the construction of integrated soil structures.
Weed prevention
Excellent light shading (>99%) prevents weeds from growing. It is permeable, breathable, and does not affect planting. The special coating makes it colorable, flame retardant, and prevents germination from flying seeds.
Anti-rust
High-performance root prevention sheet made of long-fiber polyester non-woven fabric processed to inhibit the direction of plant root elongation. It regulates root growth and prevents root infiltration.
Buffer protection
It is also used to protect impervious sheets at disposal sites and other facilities.
Main components and installation procedures
Filter performance
It performs a filtration function between a myriad of randomly arranged fibers and acts as an excellent filter that is resistant to clogging and drains only water.
Creep resistance
Compared to other materials, polyester undergoes less physical property change in terms of deformation (creep) when left under a constant load for an extended period of time.
Flexibility
Compared to other materials, polyester is more resistant to changes in climate, temperature, etc., and its properties remain almost unchanged underwater and underground.
