Civil engineering sheet with strength and workability used as a bedding material method (strong grid) in reclamation work on soft ground.
Strong Grid (TSG) is used when construction equipment is to enter soft ground or when localized fill is to be placed, which can result in sinking or breaking, making the work impossible. In such cases, surface treatment methods such as the fagot method and the bedding net method have been used in the past, but through years of research and experience, we have developed Strong Grid, which takes advantage of the advantages of each method.

Main components and installation procedures
Load distribution
When spreading good quality soil on soft ground, the overburden load is equally distributed due to the tensile force of the strong grid and the constraint layer formed between the spread soil and the soft layer, thus ensuring ground stability and trafficability.
Prevention of unequal settling
The thin and soft membrane material not only enhances the room’s design, but also makes the structure capable of following deformation even in the event of large seismic shaking, thus reducing the risk of ceiling fallout to an extremely low level.
Isolation
In spite of its extremely thin material with a thickness of only 1 mm, it has been proven in in-house tests to be strong enough to catch falling objects.
