”AG400”
-Highly durable asphalt-based weed prevention sheet-
Long-term durability compared to conventional weed prevention sheets.
Highly durable weed prevention sheet AG400 has high penetration resistance and long-term durability that enables strong weed control due to the structure of PET nonwoven fabric and modified asphalt. It can also be thermally welded to existing concrete structures, providing long-term weed control in a wide variety of situations. Compared to conventional weed prevention sheets, it is more effective in preventing weeds in gaps and joints.

Feature
Long-term durability
Modified asphalt with protective sand adhered to the sheet surface provides long-term durability of approximately 20 years.
Workability
Weeds can also be prevented from growing from the overlapping parts of the sheets by thermally welding the sheets together.
Weed prevention performance
The structure of PET nonwoven fabric and modified asphalt maintains high penetration resistance and prevents the growth of strong weeds.
Joint with existing concrete surface
Compared to conventional weed prevention sheets, this sheet can be joined to asphalt and concrete surfaces, preventing weeds from growing from the edges.
Construction Procedure
Lay the sheet
Weed and clear the construction area to make it as flat as possible. Lay the sheet and secure it with anchor pins.
Sheet joining
Adhesion using a sheet for single-sided connection Thermally weld sheets together using a gas torch or similar device.
Edgework
After cleaning concrete and asphalt pavement areas with a wire brush, apply base primer and join with a burner.

---|---|
Full protective sand type (green) | 1.0m width x 10m roll |
Single-sided joint type (green) | 1.0m width x 10m roll |
Single-sided joint type
When joining sheets together widthwise, use a single-sided joining type, peel off the release paper on one side, affix the sheet edges, and apply rolling pressure. If necessary, heat welding is performed using a burner.
Full protective sand type
When sheets are not connected to each other in width, use the full surface protective sand type.
When making wide joints, use protective sand type on all edges.
